The day starts with a Rules of Drawing session with Alex. We each bring along 3 rules and swap them. Actually it is more like a lucky dip – I got lucky. ‘start with a sensory drawing’. I think that it is Declan’s. He is drawing sound, I decide to run with touch and pick up some warm furry paper to stitch into. This is really my happy place. Bringing together great textural papers or cloth with thread just makes me smile.
