It is very helpful to be able to refer to another\u2019s beautiful prose to validate one\u2019s own actions. Although why I should need external validation to listen to my body, attune to the season and prepare for a shift in the year, is the subject of a thesis on its own.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A gratifying afternoon in the community thrift shop allowed me to ground my thoughts within the buzzing of people in the village and to remember that whatever I am wishing to communicate there are many, many people who share my sentiments but will not look at artwork \u2013 again another thesis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reflective morning reading Wintering by Kathleen May \u2013 pondering on value of stopping and assessing and feeling.
